Spam and Cabbage

Ingredients

2 Tbsp canola oil

1 can Spam, cut into 2 inch strips

1/2 yellow onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 head cabbage, chopped

2 Tbsp shoyu

TT salt and black pepper

*optional 1 each tomato, chopped

*optional 2 Tbsp sesame oil

steamed rice

Directions

In a large skillet, on medium-high heat, warm the oil and sauté the Spam and onion for 8-10 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute more.

Add the cabbage, shoyu and a splash of water. Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking until the cabbage is tender.

Add the tomato and sesame oil if desired. Serve over hot rice.
